3 Latte Recipes To Try This Fall

Honestly, Fall is the best time of the year. Beautiful leaves, comfy clothes, bonfires, what's not to love? With the price of coffee being a bit pricey these days, I've got three latte recipes that are perfect for this time of year and you can easily do these at home.

1. Autumn Spice Latte

A warm and delicious latte made without pumpkin.

Ingredients: For Autumn Spice Syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 4 whole cloves

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 4 whole black peppercorns

  • 1 whole nutmeg

  • 1-inch piece of lemon zest

For Latte

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1 tablespoon of Autumn spice syrup

  • 1/3 cup freshly brewed espresso

  • Ground cinnamon

Step One: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water and sugar. Add black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon sticks, lemon zest, and nutmeg. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Bring heat to a low simmer for 3-4 minutes, then remove from the heat and let it cool.

Step Two: In another saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the milk. Use a wire whisk to stir the milk briskly to create foam.

Step Three: Brew espresso. To a large mug, add the syrup and espresso. then pour in the milk, restraining the foam with a spoon. Spoon the foam on top. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

2. Maple Cinnamon Latte

Ingredients:

  • 180ml of milk

  • 120ml coffee

  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 cinnamon stick to garnish

Step One: Pour milk into a jar, close the lid and shake for 10-15 seconds, until foam forms.

Step Two: Remove the lid and microwave for 45 seconds. Make sure to keep an eye on it.

Step Three: Pour your hot coffee into a mug, stir in the maple syrup and cinnamon.

Step Four: Add the milk with the foam on top.

Step Five: Sprinkle cinnamon and add a cinnamon stick to garnish.

3. S'mores Latte
